Fremont is located approximately 10 minutes by car from downtown Seattle.  Locally known as "The Center of The Universe" and "The Peoples Republic of Fremont" it has undergone major changes in the last 5 years or so with new buildings being built and older original buildings being restored.  Fremont is a great place to go for a stroll, see the troll, eat at a great restaurant or stop into a pub.  The Fremont Bridge, a draw bridge, connects Fremont to Queen Anne and Seattle to the South.  Some well known companies such as Adobe, Getty Images, and Cutter and Buck call Fremont home.  Google also has offices here.

Fremont is conveniently located to downtown Seattle by an approximate 5-10 minute drive.  It's located on the Fremont Cut which is the canal leading from Lake Union to the Hiram Chittenden locks.  Fremont got it's name from where a couple of it's founders were from, Fremont, Nebraska. It's also home to the Summer Solstice Parade.  Founded in 1893 the B.F. Day Elementary Shcool, located in Fremont, is one of the Seattle areas oldest operating schools.

Homes are single family, apartment, condo, and townhouse styles.  Many have views to the South and West.  Please contact Jon with any questions you, or anyone you  know  may have about real estate, or are considering buying or selling in the Fremont neighborhood.
