The Green Lake neighborhood is located in the Seattle area just a few minutes North of downtown by car. The neighborhood itself surrounds Green Lake and it's recreation area and community center with swimming pool. There's also a small "pitch and putt" 9 hole golf course, boat rentals, bike and scooter rentals and small shops and restaurants located around the lake. For the fishermen there are trout and bass to catch.
The Green Lake Library, which is a Carnegie Library, is just across the street from the lake on the corner of Latona and Grean Lake Way.
The neighborhood is approximately bordered by Aurora Avenue to the West, I5 to the East, NW 50th to the South, and NW 85th to the North
