Kirkland Washington is located in King County and is approximately a 30 minute drive by car East of Seattle across Lake Washington via the Evergreen Point floating bridge.  It's a beautiful drive by the way with views to the North end of the lake and South with views of Mt. Rainier on a clear day.

It's borders are the city of Bellevue to the South. Redmond to the East, Juanita to the North, and Lake Washington to the West.  The downtown area of Kirkland is right on the shoreline of Lake Washington which is the second largest lake in Washington State.  There are many small specialty shops and restaurants along the main thoroughfare and side streets.  Restaurants and dinning choices are many and varied.  There's moorage for the boat owners and beaches for the swimmers, fishermen, and sun worshipers.

A couple of schools are KSDA/PSAA, and Evergreen University both located in the Houghton neighborhood.

Some neighborhoods in Kirkland are Houghton, East of Market, West of Market, Norkirk, the Highlands, and of course the downtown area.
Homes range from single family, condos, townhouses, and apartments.   Styles and designs are varied and consist of craftsman, bungalow, tudor, contemporary, and modern.  It's not uncommon to see new homes being built and restoration/renovation projects throughout the Kirkland neighborhoods.  The geography is hilly with some areas having great views of Lake Washington and the Seattle city skyline beyond.

It's very conveniently located just minutes to I-405, Bellevue, Seattle, Redmond, and other surrounding cities and communities.

It's a great and fun place to visit and drive though the neighborhoods "house seeing".  Contact Jon today for in depth information on purchasing or selling a home in Kirkland.  He'll be happy to set up a personal search with the results sent direct to your e-mail inbox.
