Seattle, Washington,  Rain City or The Emerald City as it is locally and fondly known is located in King County in Washington State in the North West corner of the United States.  Located on Puget Sound with the Cascade mountain range to the east, the Olympic mountain range to the west and Mount Rainier to the south it's a very majestic and picturesque setting.  View some photos of Seattle here.

The weather ranges from occasional snow, rain and 30-50 degree temps in the winter to mostly sun, occassional rain and 70-high 80's, occasional 90 degrees in the summer.  Some winters will see a few weeks of temps in the teens and snow. 

The  Century 21 Exposition, or 1962 Worlds Fair, was held here with the Space Needle and monorail being built at this time.  The area is now commonly known as the Seattle Center and has had numerous additions one of which is the EXP or Experience Music Project.

The Museum of Flight, Woodland park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, Center for Wooden Boats, Seattle Art Museum, and Frye Art Museum , Pioneer Square, and Pike Place Market are amongst other points of interest.

School options are many depending on where you're located in the Seattle area.  Likewise there are many colleges and Universities to choose from such as the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific Universtiy, Seattle Central Community College, and The Art Institute.

What type of home are you looking for in Seattle?  Do you have a home to sell in Seattle?  Home styles range from craftsman, bungalow, tudor, and contemporary and consist of single family, condominiums, and townhouses.  Searching within/for a certain zipcode?
Living in Seattle you're never far from any convenience.  Shopping is alway near with malls such as Pacific Place and Westlake Center.  As far as grocery shopping besides the afore mentioned Pike Place Market, there is Whole FoodsMetropolitan Market, and QFC (Quality Food Center).
